Audiobooks work for me. Reading from a book requires both hands and limits your ability to move. Also books are heavy, fragile, and unstandardized in all sorts of ways. Don't just listen, find something to do on autopilot: do the dishes, clean windows, chop veggies, weed a garden, walk.
